” I bought this nailer a couple of weeks after hurricane Katrina in preparation for the work ahead rebuilding some of my house. I’ve driven about 4000 nails and it has worked flawlessly. I’ve framed walls, hung sheathing, nailed decks and rafters. It has set every nail from 2″ to 3 1/4″ with no problems. I’ve also nailed some ceiling joist when the wood was too old/hard to nail by hand … no problems. I have not tried 3 1/2″ nails yet but from the performance I’ve experienced so far, I don’t expect those to be a problem.
The nailer has double fired on a couple of occasions but I was in tight situations where my arm movement was restricted and I’m sure that was the cause. I’ve read some really good reviews about Hitachi nailers but if I had it to do over I would buy the Senco FP602 again. I highly recommend this gun. ”

This one will take you home
I’ve used this nailer on several framing projects and not been disappointed It’s compact design allows easy access to most tight places. Coil load averages about 300 nails so I spend more time shooting than loading. Loading is easy and rarely have had a jam. It’s a little heavier due to the coil load but the advantages out weigh the weight. Can be set up for contact nailing which speeds things along. Nailer has crowned head that grabs wood for toe nailing. At 100 psi drive the nails with about 1/8″ countersink. Great product, reliable, durable.

If you need to pound a lot of nails then this gun is for you!
I bought this nailer becuase I was doing a radiant flooring project where I had to pound in 10,000 nails. The nailer worked flawlessly and was a pleasure to use. I did buy Bostitch brand nails after reading the negative reviews about the Chinese imports.
This gun is much shorter than the kind that uses the sticks of nails so it is better balanced. The huge supply of nails is also a great benefit.
