“I purchased this stapler to complete a 400 square foot project using engineered hickory hardwood flooring. Setting up the adjustment was easy enough, and had plenty of degrees of freedom. The adjustment never moved once through out the entire job. I really liked the fact that the safety would not engage when the clip was empty; this feature also prevents dry fires. The drive depth stayed consistent through out the entire job. Overall, the unit feels sturdy and heavy duty, even though it is so light. I’m very content with the Bostitch EHF1838K.”

“I used the stapler on to install my Bella Wood 3/8 of an inch solid maple hardwood flooring. It was actually quite hard to find a stapler that was compliant with this material. The 20 gauge stapler I tried before didn’t cut it, one side of the staple would curl. The tool is only supposed to work down to 7/16 of an inch, however removing the plastic protective covers enabled extended ranges of sizes. I ended up running the tool at 80 PSI with out any hiccups.”

“I bought the Bostich EHF1838K hardwood stapler for use in my general contracting business due to the seven year warranty the unit comes with. Our guys really torture test their tools, the long term warranty and price point was important to me. We purchased 3 of these units and all have performed great. Its important you make adjustments for the wood your working with beforehand, otherwise you may encounter some issues. This is user error and not a fault of the stapler. Definitely recommended.”
