Grex P650L Review

The grex P650L pinner with Lock-Out is compact and light enough for the most delicate work. With the ability to drive into both hard wood and soft wood for extra versatility. The headless P650L nailer is ideal for working on moldings, picture and mirror frames, glazing strips, dowel and joint pinning, rattan furniture and craft work for example. The ultra-thin pins are ideal this type of work as they very often don’t need putting or filling and are almost invisible.

It has been designed for maximum comfort for the user, the rear exhaust includes a silencer, which greatly reduces noise, while the rubber grip handle ensures a comfortable yet safe grip on the pinner. The double trigger safety lock out prevents the gun from being fired accidently.

And it has been engineered with the user in mind and the quick and easy drop in loading for fasteners and the indicator window on the magazine, which allows the user to monitor the levels of fasteners remaining and thus prevent mis-firing, which can damage work. The added feature of the auto lock out prevents dry firing, but with the innovative lock out over ride the operator is able to take control and use the last pins should they wish.

Care should be taken once the double trigger is activated as no nose tip pressure is required to fire pins.

The unique 4 point alignment guide ensures pins are driven accurately into place and with a wide selection of pins able to be utilized by the Grex P650L pinner, this pinner is a very valuable tool. The range of fasteners which can be used in the pinner are from ½ inch to 2 inch at 23 gauge headless pins (12 lengths in all). The patented technology of the Grex P650L means there is no need to make adjustments for pins of different lengths, which adds to the convenience of this superb pin gun.

The removable nose cover makes clearing any jams quick and easy, without the frustration of searching for the appropriate tool and associated down time.

The narrow nose of the pinner and the super slim profile of the tool makes it the ideal choice for use in tight or difficult areas and the no mar rubber nose tip assures even the most delicate work is protected from damage.
