The 42xp will drive 15 gauge finish nails ranging in length from 1.25 inches to 2.5 inches in the hardest types of woods, even white oak. The Finishpro 42xp makes quick work of base molding, window casings, exterior trim, cabinets, crown molding, and more.

The lightweight magnesium body weighs just 4.5 pounds. The lightweight design aids in maneuverability and is less stressful on your body to work with. A thumbwheel on the body enables quick and easy nail depth adjustments. The 104 nail capacity of the also aids in saving time on the job site, keeping you working longer before you need to reload. The highly engineered designed resists misfires and jams, and the ez-clear latch also you to safely and quickly remove jams in the event they do occur.

Final thoughts about the Senco FinishPro 42XP Finish Nailer

The Senco brand provides quality tools at a more then reasonable price. The 5 year warranty is a nice addition to the package as well. We were very keen on how powerful this lightweight unit was to so other finish nailers. Make no mistake; this is a professional quality tool. There’s really not much negative to say about the product, you can’t go wrong with the 42XP. Our only minor complaint is a lack of a belt hook, which may be unnecessary for some.
