“I bought this nailer to replace tired finishing nailers we’ve been using for 7 years now. Every month our business installs thousands of crown molding in our customers homes and businesses. We bought three of these for our workers to use, and we have yet to experience a misfire, jam, or double nailing. Senco makes great products and this is no exception. I’m very happy with the quality and performance of the Finishpro 42XP, and would definitely recommend this product.”

“I’m a professional contractor who builds quality homes in the Northern California area. Senco by far sets the standard in terms of quality and performance for a nail gun. I used to work with a Stanley nailer, however, I found it to be under powered and of lesser quality then the Senco Finishpro 42XP 15 gauge finish nailer. The Senco is pretty lightweight, and really comfortable to hold. I also like the Senco nails; they are of better quality than the other brands like Bostitch, which I found to rust very easily. The 42XP also has no problems nailing 5/8 inch white oak. I’m totally sold on their line of products.”

“I found the tool to be really quiet when in use, and the lightweight of the Finishpro really helped with my arthritis. The adjustable depth control on the unit really worked well. I’m very happy with my purchase.”

Final thoughts about the Senco FinishPro 42XP Finish Nailer
The Senco brand provides quality tools at a more then reasonable price. The 5 year warranty is a nice addition to the package as well. We were very keen on how powerful this lightweight unit was to so other finish nailers. Make no mistake; this is a professional quality tool. There’s really not much negative to say about the product, you can’t go wrong with the 42XP. Our only minor complaint is a lack of a belt hook, which may be unnecessary for some.
