At the time of writing the Porter Cable RN175A is the cheapest of the three coil roofing nailers and it is certainly a great product (heck it made it into our Top 3) and if you are a home DIY’er then this is probably the way to go.

The Porter-Cable RN175A 7/8 Inch to 1 3/4 Inch Coil Roofing Nailer has been manufactured to the highest quality! It has all the power to ensure it is able to cope with the rigours and punishment of the construction site (or the home), thanks to its boost of 70 to 120 PSI from the air compressor.

The die cast magnesium body keeps the weight of the nailer down, but the strength of the body means it is able to cope with the abuse of the work site, making it an excellent but for the professional who?s equipment is expected to perform in the toughest conditions.
