Milwaukee 7110-20 Framing Nailer Review

The Milwaukee 7110-20 Framing Nailer is an excellent product offering from Milwaukee. The class leading ultra lightweight design still packs a powerful punch with its pneumatic driven design. This framing nailer accepts 30 to 34 degree clipped head framing nail from .113 to .131 in gauge ranging in lengths from 2 inches to 3.5 inches.

A convenient thumb operated knob located on the right side of the nail gun allows the user to quickly move between bump firing and single fire modes. On the back of the nailer is a directional airport that can be adjusted to keep oil and debris away from your face. The rear loading magazine allows quick access to load or unload nails and has a built in indicator to alert you when you are running low on nails.

The Milwaukee 7110-20 Nailer operates at pressures as low as 70 PSI and as high as 120 PSI ensuring the nailer will have enough power for the thickest types of woods. The nail gun is great for building framing for any project, installing or extending your patio deck, or even hanging or repairing fencing. The soft rubber grip combined with the lightweight means you’ll be able to nail longer with less fatigue.

The built in air filter within the handle of the tool keeps debris out of your nailer, in turn preventing unnecessary wear from debris and increasing the life span of the tool. An internal catch piston means every fastener fired will consistently reach the same depth.

Included in the box is the Milwaukee 7110-20 Framing Nailer, safety glasses, 4mm and 5mm wrenches, and 2 ounces of lubricating oil.

Final comment about the Milwaukee 7110-20 Framing Nailer

The class leading lightweight design of this Milwaukee 7110-20 Framing Nailer really impressed us. Considering the amount of features, quality, and price point this is an excellent option to replace your old nailgun. Our minor complaints include the lack of carrying case, and how easy the grip began to pull away from the nailer. Overall this is a steal at the current price point. Consider getting yours today before the price goes back up!
