Ramsond RMM4 Review
The Ramsond RMM4 Nailer is the perfect companion to your hardwood flooring project. The RMM4 Nail operates pneumatically via 60-120 PSI compressed air through a standard ¼ inch NPT fitting. The innovative and patented design of this nailgun does the job of two tools. The RMM4 nailer allows the user to shoot both staples and cleat nails, all with out changing magazines. Ensuring your flooring project is tackled efficiently while provided expert results.
The Patented dual magazine holds 100 cleats or nails. The Ramsond RMM4 Nailer fires 15.5-16 gauge staples from 1-2 inches or “L” cleats from 1-1/2 to 2 inches. The magazine is quick loading and hassle free. The simple reload process can be completed in less than ten seconds.
The RMM4 nail gun provides expert results every time. The angle and the direction of either the nail or cleat are automatically aligned before every fire. A slight tap of the hammer powerfully secure the wood panel at the correct depth and angle.
The RMM4 nailer boasts two patented air boost chambers. As with most standard flooring nailers, the RMM4 stores compressed air within the tool. The RMM4 ups the anty by continuously storing air in both cylinders, ensuring the fastner is fired with enough power to penetrate any wood. The extra store compressed air also aid quicker retraction of the blade compared to competitors units.
The unique design of the non-marring adjustable base ensures a perfect finished surface. The three piece adjustable design ensures the hardwood flooring surface is not marred or damage during construction. The adjustability allows the gun to fit perfectly to the mating area, providing a clean and perfect bond.
The Ramsond brand produces quality tools. The heat treated hardened steel blade provides the footwork to an industrial strength tool designed for long term use. A padded grip increases both balance and comfort. Over 30,000 units have been sold in North America alone, and the unit is backed by a one-year warranty. Included in the box is the RMM4 nailer, goggles, Allen wrenches, mallet, goggles, internal key, O-ring kit, blow molded case, and base plates.

Final comments about the Ramsond RMM4 Nailer
Over all the Ramsond RMM4 is a great value compared to its $400 competitors. Small things like sticker labels give it a cheaper look and unfortunately we found you cannot check the magazine level with out opening it up. However, the versatility, features, and quality make this unit a great value. Renting a unit from a major home improvement store might end up costing you the same amount of money, and gives you a limited time span to complete your hardwood flooring project. The RMM4 is a great alternative to renting and will still provide professional looking results.
